🐇 Wildlife at the Waterholes
Two waterholes adjacent to the campsite provide outstanding wildlife viewing without even leaving your site. Elephant, giraffe, kudu, zebra, wildebeest and impala are frequently seen. Early morning and late afternoon are the best times to watch.
🐦 Bird Watching
Bird watching at Willem's Rus is described as excellent. The reserve hosts a rich variety of bushveld bird species. Site 24 features a small bird pond — a particular favourite for avid birders wanting to tick off their lists.
